Illustration design process
Determine positions.
It is Important to determine where people / objects are in an illustration at the beginning phase.
I always start like this and these picture was provided by the clients or free pictures on the Internet.
After placing people/objects and deciding on position, I’ll then confirm with the clients.
Decide drawing thickness.
Drawing thickness is also one of the important things before I start finishing colouring.
Draft outline.
After confirming people/objects positioning and drawing thickness, I then draft the outline.
Finish colouring.
Extra care must be taken when colouring because the colours can differ from design to design.
I confirm with the clients when I finish colouring once and then fix it if required.
